Types of SMS Communications: If you have consented to receive text messages from American Family Mover, you may receive messages related to the following:

Appointment reminders
Billing
Follow-up messages

Message Frequency: Message frequency may vary depending on the type of communication. For example, you may receive up to 2 SMS messages per week regarding your appointment status, billing, or follow-up.

Potential Fees for SMS Messaging: Please note that standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier’s pricing plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally.

Opt-In Method: You may opt-in to receive SMS messages from American Family Mover in the following ways:

By checking the agreement or consent box and submitting an online form.

Opt-Out Method: You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To do so, simply reply “STOP” to any SMS message you receive. Alternatively, you can contact us directly to request removal from our messaging list.

Additional Options: If you do not wish to receive SMS messages, you can choose not to check the SMS consent box on our forms.

If you contract Four Winds Relocation to provide a moving estimate and broker moving services for you, this entire agreement (only in relation to your long distance move) will be replaced with the terms of the written estimate provided to you.

Limitation on Damages

In no event will Four Winds Relocation have any liability to you in excess of actual compensatory damages. You irrevocably waive any claim to consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages.

Short Code Policy

We may use a Short Code SMS to reach out to you in regards to details about your move including but not limited to confirmation, updates, and additional service provider information. To stop receiving short messages from us, please reply STOP to the shortcode number. To receive help options, please reply with HELP. Participating carriers include AT&T, Boost Mobile, T-Mobile, Metro PCS, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Nextel, & Virgin Mobile. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you, and the message frequency may vary per user. By agreeing to the terms and conditions and the TCPA disclosure, when you press “Submit” on our moving request form, you agree to receive short code messages from us.

If an estimate is provided on behalf of a motor carrier, please be advised of the following:

This estimate is based on the motor carrier’s published tariff, which contains the rates, charges, classifications, rules, and practices used in its transportation services.
Pursuant to 49 U.S. Code § 13702 and regulations enforced by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), motor carriers are required to maintain a current tariff and make it available for public inspection upon reasonable request.
